The Trib notes that the New York Islanders have scheduled a viewing party for a replay of their February 11 game against the Penguins - the one that featured tons of fighting and Trevor Gillies taunting Eric Tangradi as he laid on the ice with a concussion.
↵↵↵"The Islanders have a good, young hockey team," [Ray] Shero said. "That's what we should talk about. Whatever they want to do off the ice ... If they want to revisit it, that's fine. That's not a game we want to revisit. We've put it behind us. We're not proud of it. It's time to move on."

This is disturbing, to put it mildly. That game was perhaps the most disgusting display I've ever seen on a hockey rink, and it contained pretty much everything that's wrong with the game. The Islanders should be ashamed of themselves. I guess they've decided this is the kind of team they want to be.
