Fantasy Hockey Mock Draft: Sidney Crosby Shouldn't Go In First Round

ESPN's latest NHL fantasy mock draft has an interesting choice at No. 4 overall: Sidney Crosby, who's still dealing with concussion symptoms and whose return date is unclear.

But that didn't seem to bother a very optimistic Buccigross. "Concussions are impossible to forecast but I sense hope in Pittsburgh," he said. "My hope is 75 games this year for Sid. He will be well-rested and should be incredibly hungry."

That seems insane to me. For Crosby to play 75 games this year, he'd have to come back by October 18 at the latest, and there's no indication he's going to come back anytime soon. Heck, a couple weeks ago he was telling the press he wasn't positive his NHL career wasn't over. I do think he'll play this year, but he'll miss a substantial enough chunk of the season that he probably shouldn't go in the first round of your fantasy draft.

Anyway, Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang were the first and last picks of the second round, respectively. Marc-Andre Fleury went in the fourth round.
