Former Penguins forward Mike Rupp thrilled Pens fans Monday while playing in the Winter Classic. That he was playing in a New York Rangers uniform is immaterial.
Rupp scored, then imitated Jaromir Jagr's salute in celebration. Rupp had earlier said on Twitter that he would "hit the mullet" - Jagr, who now plays for the Flyers - but Jagr missed much of the game with some sort of injury, so he'll have to settle for the salute. Mockery is much better than the caveman-like act of seeking to hit another player, anyway.
