Center Jordan Staal will return to the Pittsburgh Penguins lineup Saturday, as they host the Winnipeg Jets at the CONSOL Energy Center (2:00 PM ET). The game will the first of three straight at home for the Penguins, who have been playing without Staal since Jan. 6.
Staal, who injured his left knee against the New York Rangers when he collided with Mike Rupp, is expected to play around 15 minutes, according to the Associated Press.
Dan Bylsma also notes that Staal's playing time will be "significant."
"I know he wanted to play quite a bit the past 15 games," Pittsburgh head coach Dan Bylsma said Friday. "I expect him to be used significantly."
Staal, who has 15 goals and six assists in 34 games, will center a line with Pascal Dupuis and Matt Cooke.
