2012 NHL Playoffs, Penguins Vs. Flyers Game 3: Pittsburgh PK Struggles Continue, Pens Trail 6-4 After Two Periods

After a shaky first period, the Penguins were able to regain their focus and get back into the game against the Philadelphia Flyers, however, they still trail 6-4 after two periods.

James Neal was able to cut the Penguins' deficit to 4-3 with 9:29 left in the period.

The Flyers went back up by two goals shortly after when Matt Read took advantage of the lackluster penalty kill of the Penguins to fire this shot past Fleury with 5:43 to go in the second.

The Penguins got back within a goal minutes later when a lucky bounce through Flyers goalie Ilya Bryzgalov and right to the stick of Jordan Staal.

Here is a closer look of the puck going through Bryzgalov.

Pittsburgh once again found themselves in the penalty box late in the period and Wayne Simmonds made them pay with this goal with just 45 seconds left in the period.

The Flyers are just 20 minutes away from taking a commanding 3-0 lead in the series.
