2012 NHL Draft Results: Goaltenders Come Off The Board In Bottom Half Of Round 1

The 1st Round of the 2012 NHL Draft is drawing to a close at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh. It has been an eventful Friday night in Pittsburgh, with the hometown Penguins making the biggest waves with their trade of Jordan Staal.

The first goalies came off the board in the bottom half of Round 1, with Russian Andrei Vasilevski going to the Tampa Bay Lightning, who desperately need new blood in between the pipes.
