New Jersey Devils left winger Zach Parise is a free agent. So what are the odds he lands with the Pittsburgh Penguins this offseason. Well, according to Josh Yohe of the Tribune Review, it's a "strong possibility."
"Just spoke with two NHL sources who believe Parise to the Penguins is a very strong possibility," he tweeted earlier this afternoon.
This past season, Parise helped the Devils reach the Stanley Cup Finals, where they fell to the Los Angeles Kings in six games. The Minnesota native, who remains arguably the top American-born player in the NHL, had finished with 31 goals and 38 assists during the regular season. As a result, he remains highly sought after by several teams -- though, he should command a high salary, as well.
