The Pittsburgh Penguins are looking for a little more veteran help and they could find it in veteran winger Shane Doan. According to a tweet by Shelley Anderson of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Penguins have extended an offer to the Phoenix Coyotes veteran and there is interest on both sides.
Have confirmed the #Penguins have made offer to UFA Shane Doan and there is mutual interest. Don't have terms of offer. No timetable.
