Pirates shortstop Ronny Cedeno accidentally wore a Spanish-language "Piratas" jersey for the first three innings of the Pirates' final game Sunday afternoon against the Marlins, and even homered while wearing the wrong jersey. David Brown at Yahoo! Sports has a good writeup of Cedeno's jersey troubles, with pictures, but I don't agree with him that this was a prank. In the Marlins' game broadcast, Cedeno didn't look like he thought it was funny that he had to change his jersey, and no one else in the clubhouse seemed to be laughing either. If this was a prank, it was a strange one. Instead, it was probably an honest mistake - just another weird footnote to an awful season.
