David L. Lawrence Convention Center Hosts PirateFest 2011 This Weekend

The unofficial start to the 2011 baseball season kicks off this weekend, as fans, players, and staff members of the Pittsburgh Pirates converge on the David L. Lawrence Convention Center downtown this weekend. PirateFest 2011 starts on Saturday on 10 a.m. and the action does not stop until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Stop by to meet new manager Clint Hurdle, current players and even the Pirate Parrot. The autograph sessions have many of the current stars, but the highlight of the weekend has to be the Saturday evening autograph session with Doug Drabek.
