Pirates outfield prospect Robbie Grossman has been named to the Arizona Fall League Top Prospects team. Despite its name, the team isn't really a list of the best prospects in the already-prospect-heavy AFL (Jenifer Langosch notes that Gerrit Cole, who would surely qualify as one of the best prospects in the league, didn't make the cut), but rather a list of guys who played well. Grossman clobbered the ball for several weeks, ultimately finishing second in the league in homers, before being shut down with a hamate injury.
↵The rest of the team includes top prospects like the Nationals' Bryce Harper and the Mariners' Danny Hultzen. Also included is West Virginia University product Jedd Gyorko, now a prospect in the Padres system.
