The Pirates' holiday greeting to their fans is sublimely weird, and I recommend you check it out. As a ridiculously cheesy guitar-rock version of "Joy To The World" blares in the background, you get to click on presents under the tree, which are then unwrapped to reveal ... Pirates players emerging from gift boxes! Jeff Karstens looks off-camera awkwardly. Andrew McCutchen sings Christmas carols as if no one is listening. Joel Hanrahan smiles incredibly awkwardly. The Pirate Parrot tosses you an old mitt as a present.
