As MLB.com's Jennifer Langosch reports, the Pirates will recall shortstop prospect Chase d'Arnaud from AAA Indianapolis and have demoted infielder Josh Harrison in the corresponding roster move. d'Arnaud is expected to join the club on Friday for the first of a three game series with the Boston Red Sox.
↵Langosch also reports the Bucs plan to recall outfielder Alex Presley for designated hitter duties when the club travels to Toronto early next week and that sparsely used infielder Pedro Ciriaco will be optioned to AAA to make room for him.
↵After the Toronto series, Langosch expects either Presley or a reliever will be demoted to make room for starting pitcher Brad Lincoln, who is expected to make a spot start in the Pirates' doubleheader against Washington next Saturday. After the start, Lincoln will likely head back to Indianapolis and Harrison will rejoin the team, at which point a flurry of roster moves will be complete.
