The Pittsburgh Pirates face the New York Mets tonight at 7:05 p.m (Root Sports) in the second game of a three-game series. Right-hander James McDonald (3-2, 2.68 ERA) will be on the mound for the Pirates. McDonald has been stellar in his last five outings with a 3-1 record and a 2.34 ERA. He took a no-hitter into the sixth inning of his most recent start, last Thursday at the Washington Nationals.

R.A. Dickey (5-1, 3.75 ERA) will be the starter for the Mets. Dickey is 3-0 in his last five starts, but left Thursday's game against the Cincinnati Reds without a decision. He's generally had the number of Pirates center fielder Andrew McCutchen, who is 2-for-9 with four strikeouts against the knuckleballer.

The Mets have lost six of their last 10 games, including last night's 5-4 loss to the Pirates, while Pittsburgh is 6-4 in their last 10.
