The Pittsburgh Pirates are hoping that they can stave off David Wright as they send James McDonald to the hill against the Mets on Tuesday night.

The Pirates have Andrew McCutchen batting third in the order on Tuesday. McCutchen is hitting .394 with three home runs and 12 RBIs in 10 games at PNC Park against the Mets. We'll see if knuckleballer R.A. Dickey can slow that pace.
McDonald will be the starter on Tuesday for Pittsburgh, coming off a win against the Washington Nationals on May 17 in which he went five and two-thirds innings, taking a no-hitter into the sixth inning and allowing three runs on four hits while striking out 11 batters.
