Charlie Morton Injury: Brad Lincoln Will Start Tuesday, According To Reports

Michael Sanserino of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting that Brad Lincoln will be the pitcher that gets the nod due to Charlie Morton's trip to the disabled list, as he is now scheduled to start Tuesday.

There were whispers that Jeff Karstens would be healthy enough to return to the team early next week, however he will not be ready in time.

Lincoln has been solid out of the bullpen for the Pirates in 2012, posting an ERA of 1.07 in 25.1 innings with 26 strikeouts and a record of 3-0. He has made one start this season, pitching six strong innings in a 3-2 win over the Miami Marlins back on May 14.
