Pirates Vs. Orioles Final Score: Baltimore Dominates In 7-1 Loss

The Pittsburgh Pirates dropped their first matchup with the Baltimore Orioles, but the Bucs made a game of it even after falling behind early with a late rally. The Pirates scored four runs in the final three innings to cut into the lead, but ultimately lose. Pittsburgh once again found themselves in a hole early against Baltimore, but no rally would emerge on Wednesday night.

The Bucs were able to scatter some hits through out the game and picked up their lone run in the top of the seventh inning, but they just couldn't string enough hits together to score and keep up with Baltimore. The Orioles steadily built a lead through the game, coming away with a 7-1 victory and their second win in a row in the series.

The Pirates can avoid the sweep on Thursday evening.
