Pirates Vs. Rockies Score Update: Pittsburgh, Colorado Tied At 6 After 4 Innings

It's a day game at Coors Field, and thus, the Pittsburgh Pirates and Colorado Rockies have combined for 14 hits through four innings. The Pirates and Rockies are tied at six.

Colorado jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first inning following a pair of home runs from leadoff batter Dexter Fowler and left fielder Carlos Gonzalez. And in the bottom of the second, they tacked on two more.

Meanwhile, the Pirates have gotten most of their scoring in the top of third as a two-run single from Clint Barmes capped off a five-run inning, which forced Rockies starter Jeremy Guthrie to leave the game after 2.2 innings of work.

Holding a narrow one-run lead, Pittsburgh surrendered another run in the bottom half of the fourth, an RBI single from Andrew Brown that scored Marco Scutaro.
