Home Run Derby 2012: Lineup, TV Schedule, Start Time And More

The 2012 All-Star events continue on Monday night with a handful of marquee names making their first prime time appearance in the Home Run Derby. Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen will be one of four players on hand for the National League after being named a late replacement for Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton.

McCutchen joins Matt Kemp, Carlos Gonzalez and Carlos Beltran on the NL team. The American League batting practice squad features Robinson Cano, Prince Fielder, Jose Bautista and Mark Trumbo.

The rules are pretty simple. Players get ten "outs" in each round, an out representing anything that does not leave the park. The top four hitters advance to the second round, and the final round features the top two homer hitters from the first and second rounds.

Tune at 8 p.m. Eastern on ESPN to watch the Home Run Derby.
