NFL Week 6 Power Rankings: Steelers Hold Steady During Bye Week

The Steelers had the week off, but the return of Ben Roethlisberger bumps them up in many outlets' weekly NFL power rankings.

The Pittsburgh Steelers were off last week, of course, but let's still check out a sampling of NFL Week 6 Power Rankings from major media outlets across the country.

SB Nation: No. 4 ; Last Week: No.6

Now think about this: The Steelers are now better with Ben Roethlisberger at quarterback. The 3-1 start was done with backup quarterbacks.

ESPN: No. 1 ; Last Week: No.1

With QB Ben Roethlisberger returning, Pittsburgh has a shot to be the NFL's only dominant team. (Walker)

CBS Sports: No. 4 ; Last Week: No.6

They get a bye and then they get back Ben Roethlisberger. The question now is whether Roethlisberger shows any signs of rust.

FOX Sports Power Rankings: No. 2 ; Last Week: No.2

The Steelers get Roethlisberger back this week from his four-game suspension. If the Browns come within 20 points of Pittsburgh I'd be surprised. This could be the NFL's most complete team from both sides of the ball.

Fanhouse: No. 3 ; Last Week: No.4

Big Ben gets to ease back into the lineup against Cleveland before a three-game road trip (Miami, New Orleans, Cincinnati) with two nationally-televised games. Pittsburgh will surely take its 3-1 record in Roethlisberger's absence, but the four-game punishment did cost the Steelers a home loss to Baltimore, which could loom large as we go along.

National Football Post: No. 3 ; Last Week:3

Ben Roethlisberger returns to the lineup for a club that is playoff ready in October.

Peter King (MMQ): No. 3 ; Last Week: No. 3

Ben Roethlisberger's interview with Merril Hoge was good. The Steelers hope his return to their starting lineup is just as good.

USA Today: No. 3 ; Last Week: No.4
