Dolphins Capitalize On Steelers Rookie Mistake, Roethlisberger's Fumble, Lead 6-0

Not a good way to start: Pittsburgh Steelers rookie wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders fumbled the opening kickoff, giving the Miami Dolphins a 3-0 lead. Sanders carried the ball low and loose - pretty much the exact opposite way you're coached to do so. He also tried to spin in traffic, which is generally not a great idea, either.

Sanders' rookie mistake gave the 'Phins the ball on Pittsburgh's 22. Fortunately, the Steelers defense bailed Sanders out, holding Miami to a three-and-out and a field goal. Unfortunately, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger fumbled on the following series - take the sack, Ben! - giving the Dolphins the ball inside the Steelers 20.

However, Pittsburgh's defense came through again, resulting in another three-and-out and another field goal. The fact that the Steelers are down by only one score after such a disastrous start is a miracle, to say the least.
