Terrell Owens Calls Ben Roethlisberger 'Soft' On T. Ocho Show

The Bengals' Terrell Owens calls Ben Roethlisberger "soft" on tonight's T. Ocho Show, in a clip about Richard Seymour's sucker-punch:

A hockey player would've took that and kept on ticking. That shows you how soft Ben is.

There isn't anything to do here but roll your eyes. These guys (well, mostly Chad Ochocinco, since he's been around the AFC North a lot longer) have a history of saying silly things about the Steelers to get attention. Their team is self-evidently terrible. And this little sound bite comes at the end of a 30-second clip that's mostly about the size of the fine and why you can't punch people after the whistle. It's mostly pretty sensible stuff, and then Owens drops the insult. For a guy who thrives on publicity, he doesn't even sound like he's trying particularly hard. Max Starks got upset when, on a reality show, Ochocinco called the Steelers "girls." It's hard to imagine anyone in the Steelers locker room getting upset about some halfhearted publicity-seeking sniping from two guys whose team hasn't won a game since September.
