AFC Playoff Picture, Week 13 Edition: Taking Note Of The Contenders' Remaining Schedules

Taking stock of the remaining schedules for the dozen teams in the AFC that still have playoff aspirations heading into Week 13.

There are still a number of scenarios still in play in the AFC - certainly in the AFC South where all four teams are in contention, to the AFC West, as well as in the AFC North and AFC East where the conference's top four teams are vying for a divisional crown and one of the two precious top seeds come playoff time.

That said, the AFC looks to be top-heavy at this point, with the top four teams (New York, New England, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh) all at either 9-2 or 8-3. The Steelers and Ravens play this week, as do the Jets and Patriots. We'll have a much better idea of who has the inside track towards a divisional championship and first-round bye after Week 13. Nevertheless, let's take a look at the remaining schedules for the remaining 12 AFC teams within one game of .500 or better, with a particular interest of course in what lies ahead for the Steelers, Ravens, Jets, and Patriots, the front-runners in the AFC heading into December.
