The Steelers’ Wednesday injury report for their showdown against the Ravens has been released, and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is listed as being limited in his participation in practice after re-injuring his sprained foot in the Bills game. He should be ready to go in time for the Ravens matchup, however.
Troy Polamalu missed practice today while dealing with his Achilles injury, which probably isn’t a big deal – he missed practice last week, too, but was ready for the game, and I expect this week will be the same. Aaron Smith (triceps) was out today, as expected, and Flozell Adams (back), Nick Eason (knee) and Bryant McFadden (hamstring) were all limited in their participation in practice. Tomlin is “hopeful” that Eason and McFadden will play this week:
“Nick Eason looks to be pretty good,” Tomlin said. “He might be limited at the initial part of the week but we expect to have him. Similar things can be said about Bryant McFadden. But when you’re dealing with a hamstring injury it could be more problematic, but he’s slated to participate. We’ll see where that participation takes us."
