Well, this is pretty awesome. One of the many pitfalls of employing Terrell Owens is that you know something like this is going to happen at some point this year. Owens says "frustration pretty much is at an all-time high" among the Bengals, and the problems begin with head coach Marvin Lewis and the Bengals brass.

"I think there's underachieving from the top down," Owens said. "You start with the owner, you start with the coaches. And obviously we as players, we are a product of what the coaches are coaching us throughout the course of the week.

↵

"Of course, we have to go out there and play the game. But in order for us to do what we're allowed to do at the best of our abilities, the coaches have to put the players in the best position."

Yikes. Given Owens' history of mouthing off, this probably won't have much impact on Lewis' future, but it isn't the sort of thing you want to see if you're a coach, and this isn't the first time we've heard that Bengals players lack confidence in Lewis.

The Bengals are 2-11 this season, with two of those losses coming against the Steelers. The Pittsburgh defense ate Cincinnati alive last week as the Steelers won 23-7.
