Where Would Maurkice Pouncey Be Selected If The 2010 NFL Draft Were Done Again?

Here's a nice piece over at Sports Illustrated in which the author re-imagines how the 2010 NFL Draft if it were done again today with all the information we have now. The top three picks (Sam Bradford, Ndamukong Suh, and Gerald McCoy) are the same, but things start to change after that. Steelers pick Maurkice Pouncey unsurprisingly goes several picks earlier, to the 49ers:

The Steelers have raved about Pouncey's play at center all season, and he's been the key to the resurgence of the Pittsburgh running game. The 49ers actually drafted two offensive linemen in the first round, Davis and Idaho guard Mike Iupati at No. 17. Iupati's been great at left guard and he's pivotal to the 49ers running game. Davis has been decent, and the team feels he'll improve. But Pouncey was the draft's best interior offensive linemen, and he'd upgrade San Francisco wherever he played.

In the what-if draft, the Steelers end up taking another offensive lineman, Mike Iupati. In the meantime, Pouncey looks like another first-round hit for the Steelers.
