The Steelers’ injury report is a little more extensive today, but it contains mostly good news, as the team’s health appears to be improving in advance of its game against Baltimore on Sunday. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is still limited in his participation in practice, and it turns out that his foot, previously reported to be sprained, is actually broken. He should still play against the Ravens Sunday, however. In a bit of good news, defensive end Brett Keisel participated fully in practice after missing most of the past several games with calf and hamstring issues – it will be nice to have him back, since the defense has missed both him and fellow defensive end Aaron Smith, who’s still out with a triceps injury.
Troy Polamalu (ankle) was at full participation in practice today as well after missing yesterday, as were Flozell Adams (back), Bryant McFadden (hamstring) and Nick Eason (knee), all of whom were limited yesterday.
Cornerback Keenan Lewis missed practice today with an illness, and backup tight end Matt Spaeth continued to sit with a concussion.
