Former Steelers head coach Bill Cowher is interested in coaching the Giants, Dolphins or Texans, ESPN reports. Jerome Bettis said early this year that the Giants job was the one Cowher "really coveted," and the Giants' recent fourth-quarter implosion against the Eagles has reignited speculation that Tom Coughlin could be on his way out. ESPN notes, however, that Miami could be the place:
↵The Dolphins may be the most intriguing option because owner Steve Ross has wanted to energize his fan base as the team has played second fiddle to the Miami Heat ever since LeBron James and Chris Bosh signed with the NBA team.↵
Dolphins coach Tony Sparano hasn't talked with Dolphins ownership about his status for next year. As for the Texans, CEO Bob McNair recently said some vaguely positive things about head coach Gary Kubiak, which might mean Kubiak will stick around.
↵ESPN's report says that the Giants are at the top of Cowher's list.
