The Post-Gazette reports that the Dallas Cowboys are interested in Steelers secondary coach Ray Horton to be their defensive coordinator. The Cowboys, however, can't interview Horton until after the AFC Championship game is over or the Steelers lose in the playoffs. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that the Cowboys have also talked to Stanford defensive coordinator Vic Fangio and 49ers defensive coordinator Greg Manusky, but both those candidates could take jobs with other teams (Fangio with the 49ers, Manusky with the Chargers). Another potential candidate could be former Browns coach Eric Mangini.
↵Horton was a cornerback with the Cowboys from 1989 to 1992. After that he coached with the Redskins, then worked with Dick LeBeau as a coach for the Bengals, and then with the Lions before moving to the Steelers.
