With the Jets’ win over the Colts today and the Ravens’ 30-7 win over the Chiefs this afternoon, the AFC bracket is scheduled and ready to go for next week. The Patriots will play the Jets at 4:30 on Sunday in New England (CBS).
The Steelers’ next opponent, meanwhile, will be the Baltimore Ravens, who will visit Heinz Field on Saturday at 4:30 (also on CBS). A playoff game against the Steelers’ most bitter rivals is certainly exciting, but it would have been nicer for the Steelers to have a somewhat easier matchup. They’re capable of beating the Ravens, but Baltimore is a good team, and the Steelers now face the prospect of playing the Ravens and Patriots in consecutive weeks, which is no fun at all.
In the NFC, the Seahawks will play either the Falcons or Bears next week, depending on the result of this afternoon’s Packers-Eagles matchup. The Seahawks would play the Falcons if the Eagles win, and play the Bears if the Packers win.
