Week 7 NFL Lines And Odds: Steelers Vs. Cardinals

The Pittsburgh Steelers open as four-point favorites as they get ready to head out to Arizona to take on Kevin Kolb and the Arizona Cardinals. The Steelers are coming off a 17-13 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, where they were 13 point favorites and didn't even come close to covering the spread.

Our partners over at OddsShark.com breakdown their view of the game.

It's a rematch of Super Bowl XLV but in reality it's more about the Steelers getting ready for a playoff run and the Cardinals trying to get back on track. The Steelers opened as 3-point favorites against a Cards team that has been a reliable UNDER after their bye, going 5-1 in the past six games in that situation. But at home recently, it has been the opposite situation with Arizona playing 9 OVERs in 11 games. The Steelers have only lost three times in the past 20 games when they were favored and this spread should hold up during the week. Watch the status of injured Steelers regulars to see if this point spread moves during the week.

The over-under for the game is set at 41.5 between the Cardinals and Steelers, but I'm not so sure the teams will score that much. I'd expect the Steelers to score against just an abysmal Cardinals defense, but I don't know how much the Cardinals can score on the Steelers defense.

We'll be covering this game throughout the week in this StoryStream. For more information the Steelers, head over to Behind the Steel Curtain. For more on the Cardinals, check out SB Nation Arizona and Revenge of the Birds.
