Titans Vs. Steelers: Ben Roethlisberger Wants To Play Through Injury

Scott Brown reports that Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers aren't sure whether the quarterback will play against the Titans this week after injuring his foot in Pittsburgh's mess of a loss against Houston. He will have an MRI to help determine the severity of the injury. It sounds like Roethlisberger will do his best to be ready for the Titans, and will play if at all possible:

"If I can be out there, I'm going to be out there," Roethlisberger said after completing 16 of 30 passes for 206 yards and one interception. "If I have to cast it up — we saw I had to do that last year — I cast up my foot for the last half of the year. If we have to do it, I'll do it."

Good luck to Roethlisberger in staying healthy while playing behind the Steelers' current offensive line. If I were Roethlisberger, the last thing I would want would be to be walking wounded at the quarterback position while Trai Essex and company are getting run over out there.
