Patriots Vs. Steelers Update: Shaun Suisham Gives Steelers 10-0 Lead After First Quarter

The Steelers scored on a 33-yard field goal by Shaun Suisham after a 16-play, 72-yard drive that took up another 7:47 off the clock to make it 10-0.

The Patriots were able to hold the Steelers to just a field goal after the Steelers reached the 9-yard line. Two incomplete passes by Roethlisberger were followed by a sack on Roethlisberger by Vince Wilfork for a loss of six yards, forcing the Steelers to put the three points on the board.

Roethlisberger added 53 more passing yards, including 21 yards to Mike Wallace. Roethlisberger did look gimpy on his injured foot at the end of the first quarter, but has returned.

The Steelers totaled 140 yards in the first quarter and held possession for a 13:36 while holding the Patriots to no first downs.

The Steelers look like a team with something to prove after the entire week was spent talking about what they were going to do to stop the Patriots instead what the Patriots were going to do to stop them.
