The Steelers marched down the field yet again but were only able to come away with three points on a 21 yard Shaun Suisham field goal to make it 20-10 after having the ball for over seven minutes.
Ben Roethlisberger led the team down the field on 14 plays for 70 yards but stalled at the 2 yard line after an eight yard pass to Emmanuel Sanders got them there. Roethlisberger converted a 3rd and 15 from the New England 48 yard line on another pass to Sanders after a penalty negated another completion. Roethlisberger showed frustration with a non-call on the Steelers final third down attempt but the referees never threw a flag. A game that the Steelers have dominated is still only a 10 point cushion.
The Steelers now have 341 total yards to the Patriots 92, including 273 yards passing by Roethlisberger. The Steelers have had the ball for almost three times as many minutes as the Patriots.
