Max Starks has been back with the Pittsburgh Steelers for just about a day now, but it already seems like he might be back in the starting lineup. Starks has only been to one practice, but he reportedly took about half the snaps with the first team at left tackle. According to Dave Bryan of Steelers Depot, running back Isaac Redman made a pretty compelling little sound bite after practice that might signal Starks' immediate return to the starting lineup.
Our line is beat up, there is some inexperience. We have to establish the run. We need it. We need to shut people up. We have Max Starks back. Hopefully he can add some some spark to the offensive line and we can get some movement.
I know he didn't specifically say that Max Starks would be starting, but it does seem like he will be put in a position that will impact the game, and that has to be as a starting offensive lineman, right? We probably won't know for sure until the Steelers line up for their first offensive set on Sunday.
