Titans Vs. Steelers: Max Starks Could Start On Offensive Line

Scott Brown of the Trib reports that the newly-reacquired Max Starks may start against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, thanks in part to his past experience with the Steelers’ offense. It was previously reported that Starks would not be ready to start initially, since he hasn’t played at all this year and wasn’t in training camp anywhere. But the Steelers might be desperate enough for offensive line help to give him a shot immediately.

Starks said he took 66 to 75 percent of the snaps with the first-team offense today. Yesterday, Starks split first-team snaps at left tackle with Jonathan Scott, who has practiced both days this week after missing last Sunday`s game because of a sprained ankle.

Elsewhere on the ever-shifting offensive line, Doug Legursky will start at left guard, and Ramon Foster will be at right guard. Guard Chris Kemoeatu has a knee injury, and it sounds like he’ll be out.
