An already banged up Pittsburgh Steelers team will be now without running back Rashard Mendenhall when they face the Tennessee Titans Sunday afternoon, according to a report on ESPN.com. Via Josina Anderson:
Barring any unforeseen changes, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall is out for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans with a hamstring injury.
Mewelde Moore was already ruled out at running back as well, so Isaac Redman will get his first NFL start in the backfield for the Steelers. Seldom used Jonathan Dwyer is also expected to see the field at some point.
The Steelers ground game has struggled so far this season, ranking just 21st in the NFL, and now faces a stout Tennessee defense that is surprisingly leading the league by allowing just 14.0 points per game.
