NFL Week 11 Power Rankings: Steelers Crack Top Five in CBS' Latest

I give credit to Pete Prisco for not overreacting to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Week 9 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in the game’s final seconds. Prisco didn’t slide Pittsburgh too far down in his Power Rankings last week, nor should he have. A week later following the Steelers’ solid 24-17 road win over the streaking Bengals, Prisco did not bump the Steelers up from his previous position of number five, but he kept them in his top five and had this little quip to say about the six-time champions’ ability to contend again this year.

Pittsburgh Steelers: 7-3
Rank: 5
Last Week: 5
Prisco: It’s funny how a week can change things. Why do I get the feeling they will be playing late in January?

Prisco did however bump Cincinnati down three spots from No. 10 to No. 13, and he had Baltimore remain at No. 4 despite their head-scratching road loss out of conference to Seattle. That sounds about right, really. Baltimore did beat Pittsburgh twice after all.
