Steelers Vs. Chiefs: Pittsburgh Opens As 10.5 Point Favorites Over Kansas City

The Pittsburgh Steelers return to action this coming Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs. At 7-3, the Steelers are currently second in the AFC North and the No. 5 overall seed in the conference were the playoffs to start to day. The Chiefs, meanwhile, have lost two in a row to fall to 4-6, with their latest loss coming Monday night against the New England Patriots.

The opening line for the Week 12 matchup was 10.5 points in Pittsburgh’s favor. According to the data provided by Odds Shark, the line has moved to 11.5 at 5Dimes.

That is a high line, but as we saw last week with the Chiefs, the betting public poured money in on New England, so much so in fact that the opening line of 14.5 moved all the way to 17 before kickoff. And the Patriots still covered easily. I imagine that Pittsburgh won’t have much trouble stymieing Tyler Palko like New England did, and then score enough points to cover that 10-11 points quite easily.
