The Pittsburgh Steelers are getting ready to face off with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, but it's possible they may not be facing backup quarterback Tyler Palko at all. The Denver Broncos released veteran quarterback Kyle Orton yesterday. Orton had to go through the waivers process and was ultimately claimed by the Chiefs.
It's unlikely that Orton will start for the Chiefs on Sunday, but they are still in the hunt for the AFC West and a Wild Card spot. Tyler Palko struggled in his start last week against the New England Patriots. As it stands, quarterback Tyler Palko is still slated to make the start against the Steelers, but with the claim of Orton it's possible he could see action against the Steelers.
