The Pittsburgh Steelers returned to practice today coming off of their bye week to prepare for the Kansas City Chiefs. Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was limited in practice today, dealing with a thumb injury, but is expected to get the start against the Chiefs. Roethlisberger will have trouble taking snaps from under center, so the Steelers will need to work more under center.
Linebacker LaMarr Woodley (hamstring) and wide receiver Arnaz Battle (hamstring) were also both limited in practice today. Safety Troy Polamalu returned to practice in full, dealing with a rib issue from the previous week. Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders also practiced in full, who has been dealing with a knee injury. The bye week gave some key players time to recoup their injuries.
