Troy Polamalu Injury: Steelers Safety Goes Down With Possible Concussion

The Pittsburgh Steelers allowed a few big plays early in the game as the Kansas City Chiefs moved the football down the field. The Chiefs connected on a pass to offensive lineman (yes, offensive lineman) Steve Maneri for a one-yard gain. Safety Troy Polamalu dove for the tackle and wound up getting himself kneed in the head by Maneri. Polamalu went down, looking like he was knocked out.

Polamalu has dealt with concussion issues in the past and was seen taking a concussion test on the sideline. His availability for the remainder of the game is unknown at this time.

To finish out the drive, the Chiefs kicked a field goal to take the early 3-0 lead.
