Maurkice Pouncey Injury: Steelers Center Out With 'Illness'

Earlier in the first half, Pittsburgh Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey left the game with what has been deemed and "illness." With Pouncey out at the center position, lineman Doug Legursky will take his place. Pouncey is a key component to the Steelers offense, making the line calls and pulling on some running plays.

Pouncey has been a staple on the offensive line since his rookie season and when he's out it is a noticeable difference. So far against the Chiefs however, it hasn't had too much of a big effect on the Steelers offense. At this time, there is no update on what the "illness" is for Pouncey. Dave Bryan of Steelers Depot has speculated that Pouncey might have the flu.
