Ravens Vs. Steelers: Mike Wallace On Lardarius Webb: 'Who's That Guy'?

Earlier this week, Ravens cornerback Lardarius Webb made the somewhat surprising pronouncement that Steelers receiver Antonio Brown was a better player than star wideout Mike Wallace.

“Every time somebody asks me [a question], they’re always talking about Mike Wallace,” said Webb, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com. “But they have a guy No. 84 in Antonio Brown who is better than 17 [Wallace] in all aspects of the game. He’s a great returner, a great wide receiver.”

It wasn’t really your typical Ravens/Steelers trash talk, because Webb was complimenting another Steeler as much as he was insulting Wallace. Needless to say, though, Wallace has something to say:

“That guy doesn’t really matter to me, man,” Wallace said. “Who is that guy? I mean, I heard of him, but at the end of the day, he can’t check me, so it is what it is. That’s got to be somebody who really matters to motivate me; he really don’t.”

Ouch. We’ll see if Webb responds.
