Ravens Injury Report, Week 9: Haloti Ngata Expected To Play Against Steelers In Week 9

It's been quite the week in Steeler Nation. Between celebrating the Steelers' Week 8 win over the Patriots and trying to keep pace with all the varied reports surrounding the injury statuses of LaMarr Woodley and James Harrison, it's been one hectic past few days.

For the Baltimore Ravens, the injury situation is not quite as murky. Ravens fans might have been worried about the status of all-world defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, who's missed the first two days of practice this week with what the team described as a thigh injury, is expected to play Sunday against the rival Steelers. That's encouraging news for Ravens fans; not so much for Steelers fans who have far too many memories of Ngata blowing up the line of scrimmage from his DT position.

The Baltimore Sun has the rest of the Ravens injury report following the conclusion of Thursday's practice:

A pair of starters in left guard Ben Grubbs (strained ligaments in right toe) and center Matt Birk (neck) and cornerback Danny Gorrer (thigh) and rookie running back Anthony Allen (thigh) were limited for the second straight day. Rookie cornerback Chykie Brown (knee) was downgraded from full to limited participation.
