Ravens Injury Report, Week 9: Dannell Ellerbe And Lee Evans Out, Haloti Ngata Probable

The Baltimore Ravens are in town to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night, and they're coming off of a huge upset and a tough come-from-behind game in the last seconds against a team they should have dispatched easily. As is to be expected in Week 9 of a long and strenuous season, they've got their share of bumps and bruises.

In Friday's injury report, Baltimore has listed linebacker Dannell Ellerbe and wide receiver Lee Evans as being officially out for Sunday's game. Neither of these players is particularly a key player for the Ravens. Ellerbe has only four tackles this season, and is sidelined with a thigh injury. Evans only has two catches this season for a total of 45 yards, and he's out with an ankle injury.

Listed as questionable are running back Anthony Allen, cornerback Chykie Brown, guard Ben Grubbs, and wide receiver David Reed. Center Matt Birk, cornerback Danny Gorrer, and defensive tackle Haloti Ngata are all probable.

Of all of these players, Ngata is the most notable for the Ravens team, as he has 28 tackles in the season (20 solo), and is tied for the team lead with two forced fumbles.

All in all, not a seriously depleted team injury-wise, but you can be sure that the last two weeks have taken their toll on Baltimore.
