Ravens Vs. Steelers Score Update: Steelers Unable To Score In First Quarter

The Pittsburgh Steelers have yet to find their offensive groove against a tough Ravens defense at the end of the first quarter. The Baltimore defense held the Steelers to a goose egg on the scoreboard and 60 total yards through one quarter of play, leading 3-0.

The only score of the opening frame was a field goal by Ravens kicker Billy Cundiff midway through the quarter. The Ravens have doubled the Steelers offensive output to this point, as the Steelers have yet to get their ground game going. Rashard Mendenhall leads the Steelers with eight yards rushing on only two attempts. He is on pace to be well below his average rushing yardage per game at this rate.

Ben Roethlisberger leads the Steelers through the air with 50 yards on 3-of-5 passing with no touchdowns and no interceptions. This game has all the signs of a defensive battle.
