The Denver Broncos’ latest miracle victory, this time a 13-10 overtime win over the Chicago Bears, kept the Steelers from clinching an NFL playoff berth this week.
The Packers did their part by beating the Raiders, and the Bengals and Titans also lost. So here’s what the AFC playoff picture looks like:
AFC East
Patriots 10-3
Jets 8-5
AFC North
Ravens 10-3
Steelers 10-3
AFC South
Texans 10-3 (clinched division)
AFC West
Broncos 8-5
Raiders 7-6
Chiefs 6-7
Wild Card
Steelers 10-3
Jets 8-5
Titans 7-6
Bengals 7-6
Raiders 7-6
Chargers 6-7
The Steelers are still in great shape, obviously, even with a tough game against the 49ers coming up.
In the NFC, the Packers and 49ers have clinched their divisions, and the Saints have a two-game lead in the NFC South. The Cowboys are one game up on the Giants in the NFC East, while the Falcons and Lions have the inside track on the Wild Card spots.
