The Pittsburgh Steelers picked up their tenth win of the season on Thursday night with a 14-3 defeat of the Cleveland Browns. The win pushed the Steelers' potential draft pick down a few spots. If the 2011 NFL season ended today, the Steelers would have the No. 30 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. Picking this late is nothing new for the Steelers recently.
Currently, the Steelers have the same record as the Houston Texans, Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, New Orleans Saints, and the New England Patriots. Based on current strength of schedule, the Steelers would hold the No. 30 overall pick, with the Texans holding the No. 31 overall pick. Of course, the picks in the back end of the NFL Draft are dependent on playoff finishes, so they will change.
