Rams' Austin Pettis Suspended Four Games For Violating League PED Policy, According To Report'

St. Louis Rams rookie wide receiver Austin Pettis has been suspended four games for violating NFL rules on performance enhancing substances, according to a report by Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

With only two games left on the season, Pettis will miss this weeks game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Rams final game of the season, and the first two games of the 2012 NFL season. Pettis was the Rams third round pick in the 2011 NFL draft. For the season, Pettis had just 27 receptions for 256 yards in 12 games, starting three. By all accounts, Pettis had been a massive disappointment for the Rams as a rookie.
